Your new company
The organisation develops, designs, manufactures and supplies specialist parts and components. Due to shortages within the team, they are currently recruiting a temporary Assistant Buyer/Purchasing Assistant for approximately 3 months (potentially longer). Hours of work from 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Your new role
The Assistant Buyer will provide support to the purchasing team and will be responsible for raising purchase orders from international internal and external suppliers. The role will liaise with suppliers, track deliveries and resolve supply chain issues. The role will also be responsible for completing customs clearances and documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have strong purchasing experience and be comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders. It is essential that you have strong Excel skills, be highly organised and have great communication skills.
