Temporary Accounts Assistant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a ever growing media marketing company based in the Halifax area as they look to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

Please note; This is a immediate start role on a temporary ongoing basis, salary negotiable depending on experience.

Duties of the Accounts Assistant will include:

• Raising of sales invoices and sending to customers 
• Developing solid working relationships with customers and colleagues
• Chasing customers for payment via email and telephone
• Dealing with invoice related queries
• Ensure all new orders have appropriate credit insurance
• Monitor overdue debts against credit insurance limits
• Set up customer accounts within the finance system and with credit insurers
• Assist with key information for weekly performance reports
• Assist with process improvements
• Any other admin requirements as required

Person specification:

• At least 1 years experience within fast paced finance
• Educated to GCSE level incl. Maths & English
• AAT (desirable not essential)
• Excellent communication skills 
• Ability to work well towards strict deadlines
