Sales Manager

Loughborough, hybrid

09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Up to £36,000 + 10% bonus

Are you a results-driven individual with strong communication skills and a passion for sales? We're looking for a motivated Sales Manager to take products to market on a national basis for a business who are currently dominating the market that they operate within.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor agreed trading positions and volume levels.
  • Provide accurate commercial and market information to Account Managers, Merchants, and direct clients.
  • Ensure clearance of products and maintain communication with key personnel at supply sites.
  • Follow up on leads from the sales force and generate your own leads.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with product managers on strategies for capturing them.
  • Log all customer interactions in the database system.

The candidate:

  • Higher-level vocational education
  • Significant continuous work experience in a telephone sales environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Results-driven with commercial acumen and sales skills.
  • Ability to motivate internal and external sales teams, suppliers, and logistic partners.
  • SAP experience
  • Computer literacy and CRM experience.
  • Proactive with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships over the telephone.
