Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (with overtime available on weekends)

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Telehandler Operator to work on a long-term contract with our client, a leading construction company based in Sunderland. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to assist with various construction tasks on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a telehandler to move materials and equipment around the construction site safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on-site.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the telehandler to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team to coordinate tasks and activities.

Requirements:

• Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler license is essential.
• Previous experience operating a telehandler in a construction environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to undergo a recent medical examination or be willing to undertake one.
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, with overtime available on weekends as required.
