Telehandler

We are currently seeking a skilled Telehandler Operator to join our team for a short-term contract at a construction site in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a telehandler to assist with various tasks on the site, ensuring efficiency and safety at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a telehandler to move materials around the construction site as directed by the site manager or supervisor.
• Safely load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
• Assist with general site maintenance and cleanup as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations on the site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Telehandler Operator in a construction or similar environment.
• Valid CPCS telehandler certification.
• Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Full UK driving licence.
