I am currently working with a key client of mine who is looking for a Technical Writer on an initial 8 Month Contract within the oil & Gas Industry.

They are looking for someone who can support the engineering project team, facilitating the creation of high-quality technical documents.

Type: Contract
Duration: 8 Months
Location: Gloucestershire - Hybrid working - 50% on site and 50% Remote
Hours: 40 Hour week
Rate: £400-£450 per day Inside IR35 (Dependent on experience - Negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Create, update and maintain technical assembly, maintenance and operations content
  • Produce clear, concise and accurate content for a wide range of users whose first language is not English.
  • Edit documents supplied by subject matter expects
  • Get source information from documentations such as CAD drawings, specifications and interviews
  • Produce and edit graphic such as photos during engineering assembly

  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Good organisation skills
  • Strong team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Creo to help create and edit images
