The Client:

We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Training & Competence Manager tojoin our client working for a leading UK automation company.

This is a part time 2-3 days a week.

The role of the Technical Training & Competence Manager will include the following.

  • Accountable for designing exciting content for Moodle Workplace and to support learning and development, you will implement and deliver of technical learning strategies.
  • You will manage training programs and develop employee’s skills and knowledge within the organisation to future proof the business by developing the next generation of engineers.
  • You will conduct assessment(s) of learning and development needs, deliver in-house training sessions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the training.
  • You will hold proven experience in coaching and mentoring of employees and in conducting effective learning interventions (i.e. traditional training, 'on/off the job’ training)

What’s needed for me to be considered for Technical Training & Competence Manager role?

  • Minimum of BEng in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in mentoring, coaching and teaching skills and delivering 'on/off the job’ training interventions
  • Subject Matter Expert in electrical control systems, (at least 10 years) with specialised experience in the field of electrical engineering - Drives systems - PLC’s, manufacturing environments and on-site work
