Our client is a multiple award-winning Automotive Manufacturer who is at the forefront of Electric Vehicle technology and dedicated to a sustainable future. It is a very exciting time to join this growing company who are looking for someone to be part of their exciting journey.  

Technical Trainer:

  • Manage all elements of technical training and technical support internally and externally to the business on a global basis.
  • Raise business development levels by providing additional training as required; develop and promote E-Learning across all platforms along with appropriate levels of qualification and accreditation. Provide a service to track and trace technical support.
  • Develop and implement business plans, strategies, and cases to support the development of the training requirement globally.
  • Liaise with external providers to support current and projected training along with product knowledge.
  • Liaise with internal departments on the progression of service and repair requirements.
  • Provide all staff with the necessary training to be able to support the business.
  • Ensure the customer is handled professionally and politely and kept fully aware of developments from technical enquiries.
  • Feedback on any issues, shortfalls and trends highlighted by customers regarding training or products.
  • Ensure that reports are processed in an accurate, timely and legible manner as required.
  • Ensure that all technical documentation is made available to staff, i.e., parts manuals are at the current level.
  • Identify areas of improvement and subsequently drive continuous improvement across the team.
  • Ensure that all elements of housekeeping, including premises, people, equipment, and vehicles are of the highest possible standard, to portray a professional image.
  • Extensive travel in relation to customer and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure that safe working practices are always adopted and that the required health & safety protocols are maintained when at customers' sites.
  • Develop a can-do attitude within the organisation, with a culture of right first time and own problems.
  • Responsible for diagnostic software releases and equipment with a view of having a diagnostic equipment lead in each service centre.

Technical Trainer:

  • Experience with training provision
  • Experience with business case planning and development
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the business.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Evidence of effective organisational skills
  • Experience working within the bus or truck industry.
  • Active driving license.

Technical Trainer:

  • Training qualification – PTLLS/Assessor
