As a Technical Systems Coordinator you will be working shoulder to shoulder with the Technical and Development Director and other senior leadership team members. You will be eager to develop, make your mark, have a love for creating efficient systems and have lots of energy and personality to lead and coordinate all our technical systems.

This role will be responsible for all technical coordination and drive forward the technical, new product development and commercial departments of the business. You’ll be an integral part of the business by assisting the Technical and Development Director with all Food safety systems and procedures, compliance and improving/identifying all parts of the process.

About the role:

· Complaints management: including logging all customer complaints (including retail, foodservice and industrial customers). Compiling customer complaint responses (where necessary) by carrying out root cause investigation with suppliers.

· Supplier Approval Maintenance: including updating FWF Supplier Approval Matrix, with supplier GFSI certification by collecting and storing supplier certification and reports. Updating and maintaining FWF grower GlobalGAP matrix, including using GlobalGAP online platform to update grower data.

· Setting up of new suppliers and product references in the SAP system ensuring all relevant information is gathered and input together with supplier certifications.

· Specification Management: including administration of the generation and maintenance of customer product specifications for existing products and new product launches (including using customer online specification platforms).

· Internal, Supplier and Service Provider audit scheduling: Maintaining & liaising with Supplier & Service Provider to arrange audit in accordance with FWF audit plan.

· Customer traceability: conduct and generate information including maintenance / management of suppliers / customer traceability through field to fork perspective, including use of online platforms where necessary.

· System Management and Analysis. To learn the CN Quality Management Systems through SAP, use of the system to retrieve data and analyse in support of the FWF Technical function.

· Product Sampling: Supportthe Product Manager in the administration and management of the sample submission process when required.

· Customer Contact Management: Supporting the management of the Customer database, ensuring it is updated regularly.

· Reporting: Management and reporting of the packaging waste reporting for the business (PPT quarterly, PRN annually). Assist FWF TD in the generation of KPI reports for customers, suppliers, and Management Meetings / Board Meetings.

About you:

You may already be in a technical administrator role or involved in the production of technical specifications, you may be involved in NPD new product development) or process, you may be a process technologist? If you have the experience, we’d love to hear from you.

Knowledge, Experience and qualifications

· Technical background/experience in a food safety role/environment (essential)

· A food science or related degree within the food industry. Ideally within the frozen food sector. (desirable)

· The desire to progress in the technical food safety field
