The Role

A leading national mechanical engineering provider seeks an experienced Technical Support Engineer to add to their HVAC division. The successful candidate will oversee and support their regional team of service engineers on any advanced air conditioning technical queries or problems they may have, primarily VRV / VRF HVAC systems and chillers. This is a unique hybrid role that is home based working in the field overseeing a large team of engineers and regional service branches.

Experience Required

You will have extensive previous hands on experience servicing, fault find and fix on HVAC systems and / or chillers. As this is both in the field and working from different regional offices, you must be IT literate and have excellent organisational and communication skills in order to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required as you will be overseeing service engineers from a variety of different backgrounds and intermediate to advanced levels of experience. Refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications along with at least ten years of experience are expected for this role as you will be overseeing advanced level air conditioning service engineers.

The company is one of the largest M&E providers nationally and due to growth of the company they are looking to add to their ever-expanding air conditioning service team. They have a national team of technical service support specialists each overseeing a regional team of service engineers and they have extensive experience either hands on and/or through qualifications to ensure their service engineers get the very best advice on fault finding and fix situations whether emergency call out or planned preventative maintenance / PPM's.

The Package

Starting salary is from £37,000 up to £40,000 with bonus, however it is flexible depending on the experience of the candidate. Due to the seniority and requirements of this position you will receive a company car which you can choose from a corporate fleet selection provider. Also a generous amount of holiday, increasing after each year of service, healthcare, pension, dental, mobile and laptop.
