My client is looking to recruit a Technical Support Engineer for their electronics business located in Melksham. They design and develop electronic products for a variety of industries and are looking to recruit this role to support customers with questions and issues in all aspects of technical support relating to their products.

In addition to technical support via the telephone/email, you will be responsible for repairing products onsite in the workshop and onsite at customers when required.

The skills/experience require within the role of Customer Support Engineer are:

  • Previous experience within a support role
  • Industry recognised qualification in a technical discipline
  • Electronics experience
  • An in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems
  • Awareness of electrical safety
  • Full UK driving licence

The role will involve working a 37.5-hour week covering core hours Monday - Friday of either 08:30 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 17:30.
Any additional hours worked will be given back as time off in lieu.
