Our client the UK’s leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for a Technical Support Advisor/Engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis.    

We would like to clarify that this role does not entail any IT-related duties. Additionally, it is important to note that this position is not field-based, meaning the responsibilities do not require physical presence outside of the designated workplace.

Location:            Dartford
Salary:               Up to £35k per annum     
 
The Technical Support Advisor/Engineer will be the primary point of contact for all technical queries that cannot be resolved in the field by engineers or the CST (Customer Support Team). This role involves liaising with various teams to ensure prompt resolution of technical issues raised within the Technical Assistance Request (TAR) system, adhering to strict response timeframes.
 
Additionally, the Technical Support Advisor/Engineer is responsible for supporting the service team, meeting customer expectations and service level agreements, and ensuring satisfactory outcomes for escalated service calls. They also play a pivotal role in implementing new working practices, coordinating training for engineers, managing equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting in the management of service contracts. The role requires proactive communication, problem-solving skills, and collaboration across departments to enhance our clients service delivery for customers.
