JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a District Heating Technical Sales Executive / Project Coordinatorwith experience in creating bills of materials, quotations or tender submissions, excellent customer service and good knowledge of AutoCAD (or equivalent software) in order to produce and work with drawings.

Working as the District Heating Technical Sales Executive / Project Coordinator you will join the Building Solutions Team to support the growing heating and plumbing systems needs in the market.

As the District Heating Technical Sales Executive / Project Coordinatoryou will work on a range of heating and plumbing projects and will participate in internal and external pipe system project tender submissions, along with providing technical support to customers in the UK and ROI.

The role of District Heating Technical Sales Executive / Project Coordinator has a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Focused independent tasks on projects
  • Working as part of a wider project team, from the early feasibility stages of a project to its installation
  • Commissioning
  • Technical support during installation/in operation
  • Working alongside Sales Manager and external parties involved in the project

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in creating bills of materials, quotations, or tender submissions
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD or equivalent software and the ability to produce and work with drawings
  • BSc/BEng in Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • Ideally previous experience in the HVAC industry in areas such as pipework, district heating or heat pumps
  • Practical experience with polymer or traditional copper/steel pipework would be an advantage
  • Experience in working with customers directly, as well as with customer relationship management systems
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel, PowerPoint and One Drive
  • Completed CIBSE courses on plumbing, underfloor heating or heat networks design would be an advantage
  • Team player and a driven individual with attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Problem solving and practical approach would be your second nature
