£negotiable depending on experience plus commission

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our global client with their HQ in the UK to seek and secure new business from prospective customers. You will be promoting a full spectrum of Electronics Manufacturing Services including PCB, Cable Harnesses and Box Building

Main Responsibilities

  • Utilise your experience as a technical sales professional within the Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry
  • Engage with Purchasing Managers, buyers, designers, engineers, and manufacturing personnel
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding drawings and analysing customer Bills of Materials
  • Proactively identify and pursue targeted strategic business opportunities.
  • Participate in New Product Introduction and contract review meetings for new business.
  • Utilise Electronic Estimating Systems to process and quote customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate closely with Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations

Experience:

  • Proven track record in the Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry.
  • Technical sales experience within the electronics market.
  • Familiarity with key suppliers of cables, components, and PCB materials.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Enthusiasm, determination, and negotiation skills to achieve targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting to internal staff and customers.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to identify new customers and markets for our manufacturing services.
