A reputable and long-established Insurance Provider who are market-leading, fast-paced and innovative with a real passion about Customer Care are now seeking experienced Desk-based Claims handlers as well as anyone who has Technical Management experience to join their vastly experienced Property Claims Team who offer a specialist and dedicated service to help customers throughout the lifecycle of their claim. You will work closely with Surveyors and Loss Adjusters handling new and existing Domestic Property Claims in excess of £50k to £1mil plus covering all perils including fire, escape of water, floods, impact, accidental damage and theft.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of HNW/Complex Domestic Property Claims managing both duration and cost (For those with Technical Management experience to act as a Technical referral point for the Claims Team)
  • Gather information, check policy cover/wordings and accurately check full details on a claim
  • Dealing with a varied and interesting portfolio of losses including escape or water/water damage, fire, theft, storm damage etc.
  • Identify and assist in pursuing recoveries
  • Ensure customers are provided with a fair outcome

About you:

  • Household/Domestic Claims Handling experience in excess of £50k
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective claims management and organisational skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
