Technical Manager – Frozen Food Production Company

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to become part of an innovative frozen food production company based in King's Lynn. In this important role you will be tasked with guaranteeing technical and legal compliance throughout the production process. You will also be responsible for upholding food safety standards, ensuring top quality product and navigating regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Be the technical and compliance contact for customers, service providers and the rest of the team
  • Advise the product development team on relevant food safety guidance and legislation
  • Ensure product packaging complies with all regulations and standards
  • Liaise with team members on product quality and report back to relevant stakeholders
  • Complete inbound product checks for raw materials and components
  • Provide additional QC support during production runs
  • Manage tasks associated with the Quality Management System
  • Lead the annual BRC certification renewal audit

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical or quality management role within the food industry
  • Experience with HACCP, TACCP & VACCP systems
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

Working Hours:  Monday – Friday: 8 am – 4 pm or 9 am – 5 pm
