The Job You’ll Do;

• Responsible for the Technical and Hygiene function for the site.
• Main point of contact with customers, technologists and Auditors.
• Responsible for all technical roles from Supplier approval, Specification writing, Risk assessments, Audit management, complaints, customer visits etc.
• Ensuring strict allergen controls in place for Milk and Gluten free production.
• Undertakes regular one to one and team reviews with direct reports.
• Reacts to any personnel issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Delivers successful customer audits.
• Faces customers and delivers customer requirements on site.
• Report directly to the Managing Director.

About You;

• Experience in FMCG/Food Manufacturing within a senior Quality or Technical role.

• Experience in any of the following would be beneficial: Retort, Canning, Beverages, BRC v 9 compliance, FDA/USDA Compliance for Low Acid Foods
• Type of individual - Self Starter, Energetic, Leader, Multiplier of Effort, used to using BRC Guidelines as a business model, rather than an add on system.
• Financial Acumen: Interpreting and applying understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions.
• Business Acumen: Manoeuvring comfortably through complex process and people-related organisational dynamics.
• Able to Build Effective Teams to achieve common goals.
