Coatings Technology Manager

  • Full time and permanent role
  • Location: Suffolk
  • Salary: competitive, dependent on experience

Reed Scientific is partnering with a well-established company who is a leader in development, manufacture and supply of containment and storage solutions for various industries such as agricultural and biofuels. They now looking for an experienced Coatings Technology Manager to manage products development processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading research activities
  • Establish and enhance the science and technology of company’s products
  • Continuous improvement of product performance
  • Provide support with materials engineering aspects
  • Manage development projects from concepts to implementation of solutions
  • Team management
  • Ensuring that products comply with quality standards
  • Producing technical reports

The candidate:

  • Ideally possesses a technical background in manufacturing or coatings processes
  • Ideally 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability of developing and managing development projects within deadlines
  • Ideally a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials or other science/technical disciplines
