Are you an experienced Quality Assurance or Technical Manager within fresh produce?

This opportunity is exciting for the right person, as the company are expanding and have a family-friendly work culture where everyone can participate in the success of the overall operation.
An example of the average day-to-day may involve:
Key responsibilities:
• Maintain and report Site Technical KPIs
• Attend the daily/ weekly/monthly meetings and provide feedback on any current technical challenges
• Act as point of contact on a day-to-day basis for the Quality, Technical and Operations teams. Maintain the flow of information into teams, ensuring appropriate communications are passed
• Perform internal audits against the audit schedule
• Record of non-conformances, investigation, analysis, and implementation of corrective action(s) as applicable.
• Maintain the Quality Management System and control of documents.
• Pest Control Management
• Environmental, people, water and product testing and swabbing management
• Site equipment calibration management
• Lead/ participate in HACCP, TACCP/VACCP Teams
• Investigate and report back serious customer complaints, corrective actions, and improvement plans
• Conduct site traceability tests/ mock recalls ensuring a full compliance with food safety standards
• Lead projects which require technical input ensuring site continuous improvement
• Promote a high standard of awareness and understanding at site level of all appropriate policies, procedures and product specifications.
• Monitor compliance with hygiene rules and requirements.
About You
• Food Safety Level 3 or 4
• HACCP Level 3 or 4
• Internal Auditor
• Industry knowledge would be an advantage
• Computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
• Microsoft Office experience - Word, Excel.
