Are you a CNC setter / operator, looking for a brilliant opportunity to come off the tools, and progress your career in a technical estimator role, where you will form an integral part of a rapidly growing company which supplies into Pharmaceutical, Automotive, Oil & Gas and most recently Aerospace, looking to continue it's rapid growth and expansion?

You will be responsible for providing technical estimates for incoming work, liaising closely with clients, suppliers, engineering and technical teams to ensure accurate estimates are provided. You will be in a crucial role within a growing sales team.

The role:

• Processing customer enquiries through MRP system
• Liaising with clients over the phone and via email, regarding technical and non technical questions, providing a client-centric service
• Liaise with Production, Engineering and Technical teams
• Extract information from technical drawings and client specifications
• Source supplier / subcontractor quotations, developing new and existing supplier relationships
• Create client quotations
• Estimate route times for components

The person:

• Either a background in CNC operating / programming, or a technical estimator background from Precision Engineering
