Technical Author – Stoke on Trent

Our security focused client in Stoke on Trent is looking for a Technical Author to join their team in Stoke.

As a Technical Author you will be working closely with technical architects, engineering and service delivery teams, gathering information from different sources including stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Researching, writing and producing technical documentation and explanations for both internal and customer base. You will be involved in development, production and maintenance of suitable templates to drive consistency of documentation.

As the TA you will be contributing to ensure the delivery, process improvements and maintenance of the organisations production and maintenance in line with external accreditation such as ISO9001.

This would suit someone with a technical background who is able to explain technical concept in text, graphic and illustration formats. Great communicational skills, as the Technical Author you will work closely with key internal departments which include sales, technical architect, projects, delivery, product managements.

Due to the nature of the sector our client operates in, this position is based on site. Ideally looking for someone with an active SC clearance but our client is happy to put candidates through that.
