Teacher of Design and Technology Opportunity in Harlow
Location: Harlow
Salary: £100 - £230 per day
Start Date: Immediately

About the Role:
As a Teacher of Design and Technology, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation of designers, engineers, and innovators. You will deliver engaging and practical lessons that encourage students to explore the principles of design, develop their technical skills, and unleash their creativity. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for design and technology education and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver inspiring and innovative lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach a range of design and technology disciplines, including product design, textiles, and engineering
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to students as they undertake practical projects
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to express their creativity
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Design and Technology or a related field
- Experience teaching Design and Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for design and technology education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
