Join our dynamic team at Slough Children First (SCF) as a Team Manager in our Assessment & Intervention Service! This is a fixed-term contract covering maternity leave for 12 months.

Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and families? We're seeking a dedicated individual to lead our team of Senior Social Workers and Social Workers in delivering statutory and legislative duties to promote the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Slough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Senior Social Workers and Social Workers in delivering high-quality services to children and families.
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative working environment to effectively manage risk and ensure the well-being of children.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and promote best practices in children's social work.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registered social worker with a professional social work qualification.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in children and families social work.
  • Collaborative and supportive leadership approach.
