Team Leader

Are you an experienced Team Leader or Senior Support Worker who’s passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities? We’re looking for a Team Leader who will plan and organise the delivery of support and care to people living in a residential service in Hereford who have learning and physical disabilities. The home has a great reputation in the area, with state-of-the-art equipment and an experienced team who take a flexible approach to peoples care packages to ensure personal choice is top of the list for those who use their services.

The Team Leader Role

As the Team Leader you will have responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of staff delivering care and support to people within a residential home.

Your responsibilities include;

• Rotas
• Care and Support plans
• Leading a team and delegating duties
• Problem solving
• Supporting team meetings

The Successful Candidate

• We’re looking for somebody who has worked in a supervisory position, leading and directing staff. Such as a Team Leader or Senior Support Worker previously within a supported living service or residential home for adults with learning disabilities.
• You’ll need NVQ level 3 or QCF level 3 in health and social care
• You’ll demonstrate a passion for supporting people to achieve their goals
