Team Leader - Nights (Food Production)

PSi Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic Team Leader to join an innovative Bakery facility located in Bridlington. You will need to be a team player with previous experience of working as a Team Leader, preferably within food production, and possess good working knowledge of Food Safety with appropriate certification.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of production operatives and charge hands in the efficient operation of your designated area of responsibility;
• Ensure the daily production plan is achieved and communicate any shortfalls or problems to the Front Line Managers;
• Inform the Front Line Managers immediately and liaise with the Technical department over any relevant quality and food safety issues and/or actions;
• Assist operational management in achieving performance targets including yield, efficiency, labour and waste;
• Actively manage team training to upskill and develop your team;
• Promote departmental teamwork and support colleagues in attaining the highest standards of work;
• Ensure all colleagues within your area comply with company and legislative H&S, food safety and personal hygiene procedures and regulations;
• Ensure GMP standards are maintained and good results are achieved on weekly audits by the technical team;
• Accurately report line KPIs to the Front Line Managers;
• Ensure that all the relevant paperwork is 100% completed and checked;
• Have the ability to provide cover for the Front Line Manager in their absence.

Team Leader Desirable Criteria:

• Previous FMCG / Food experience as a supervisor or team leader
• HACCP / Food Safety
• IT literate

Team Leader Hours of work:

4-on-4-off 6pm / 6am

Salary: TBC
