Teaching Assitant - Primary School - EYFS

Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: April 15th 2024
Duration: Summer Term, with potential for a role next academic year.

We are working with an exceptionally welcoming and inclusive school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire who are looking to welcome a teaching assistant into their faculty for the duration of the summer term.

Our school's staff pride themselves on their bespoke approach to managing behaviour and relationships with their children, with a full-time therapist for both staff and students available proving the care they hold for their staff, as well as their pupils.

This role is for a teaching assistant with EYFS experience, someone who can help their students access to learning and assist the class teacher with management of pupils and the classroom as a whole.

Experience required

• Thorough understanding of UK EYFS curriculum
• Experience as a teaching assistant within UK classrooms
• High expectations for yourself and the pupils you work with
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to embrace the diverse community the school belongs to
• Understanding of how to raise standards through your role
• The ability to build strong, meaningful relationships with pupils, children and staff alike
