Teaching Assistants - Basingstoke - SEN / SEMH

Academics Hampshire are recruiting caring, energetic Teaching Assistants on behalf of our client SEN schools in Basingstoke and the surrounding areas! We are seeking Teaching Assistants with experience working with children that have Special Educational Needs, whether that be first hand with a friend or family member, in clubs outside of education or in the classroom, no matter your experience we'd like to hear from you.

We work alongside SEN schools in the area that are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join their schools.

Teaching Assistants - Basingstoke

To apply for this role you should:

  • Ideally have experience working with SEN children
  • Be available at least 3 days a week
  • Have confidence to work both as a general teaching assistant and 1:1 with students when required
  • Be prepared to give assistance and supervision to all children within the class during the school day
  • Support the teacher when needed
  • Stay enthusiastic, motivating and inclusive
