Teaching Assistant Opportunity - Bridgend School

Join our compassionate team in Bridgend, where we are committed to nurturing and supporting primary-aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, as well as those facing trauma and exhibiting challenging behaviour.

Position Overview:

  • Location: Bridgend
  • Pupils: Up to 140 primary-aged students
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Rate: £12.82/hr (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Contract: Term time only, with weekly pay
  • Flexibility: Flexible shifts and ad-hoc cover available

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within SEND settings
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • An empathetic approach to the complex needs of the children
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Mandatory Credentials:

  • Full registration with REED
