Teaching Assistant - SEND Support / Classroom Support Assistant

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the emotional, physical, and learning needs of individual and groups of children
  • Assisting in the monitoring and delivery of SEND support plans
  • Encouraging pupils to engage in their own learning and development
  • Helping organize the learning environment and maintaining classroom displays
  • Keeping accurate records and supporting colleagues
  • Assisting in planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities
  • Promoting positive behavior and ensuring pupil safety

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described
  • Effective communication skills with adults and children
  • Experience working with children in a school environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to supporting high-quality learning activities
  • Basic knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection
