Hays Education is working in partnership with a Liverpool-based Primary School who is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This will be a full-time, long-term role with the potential to go permanent.
Your new role
This school is looking for a team player with good communication skills and an ability to work in partnership with teachers.
Your role will be supporting the class teacher and taking small groups of SEN pupils with varying needs, supporting their general learning and providing
Care and guidance for their wellbeing, ensuring they are included and are keeping on task in core subjects.
What you'll need to succeed
For the successful candidate, you will need:
- To be proactive in your approach, with an ability to motivate yourself as well as the students.
- Have specialist skills in supporting pupils with SEN.
- Minimum of 3 months experience in working with pupils in the last 2 years.
- Experience of working on a one-to-one basis with students.
- Excellent behaviour management skills.What you'll get in return
