I am currently seeking Teaching Assistants who are looking for flexible working.

Here at Long-Term Teachers, we work with a number of Primary schools in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area.

These schools continue to look for flexible Teaching Assistants who have previous experience working with children, someone who can be adaptable and work closely with the Class Teachers to support the children’s learning.

The Primary Schools we work with have great opportunities for you to grow as a professional and gain experience working with children in whole class, group work and individual environments.

The Role

There are multiple roles available from supply day to day and long-term positions, you will have the chance to decide to work on a full-time or part-time basis.

You will get a chance to experience working throughout EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms, working with children in a small group setting or on a 1 to 1 basis with SEND children.

We are looking for candidates who are patient, caring and can bring an enthusiastic approach to the classroom.

You will be expected to:

  • Have previous experience working with children.

  • Be adaptable with strategies and techniques to allow each child to access the curriculum.

  • Implement planned activities and adjust according to the students’ response and development.

  • Support the children on a social, educational and emotional aspect.

  • Communicate clearly with Class Teachers and other staff member to provide the best support.

Working with Long-term Teachers:
