Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - SEND Location: Greenwich Salary: £80-£120 PER DAY

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist in various classroom tasks
  • Ability to use initiative and thrive under pressure
  • Effective communication skills with children and colleagues
  • Any experience with SEN-specific training (e.g., PECS, Makaton) is beneficial but not essential
  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Availability to work in Greenwich, South London

Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll:

  • Support pupils with autism (SEMH) in their learning journey
  • Provide assistance on a 1-1 and group basis
  • Assess and cater to individual learning needs
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress
  • Foster social and emotional development in students
