This rewarding position will be based in Ellesmere Port, conveniently close to Chester, providing you with the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Provide one-on-one support to a wonderful student in Year 1 with global delay, assisting them with their educational and personal development.

  3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

  5. Play a pivotal role in the student's academic journey, helping them to overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their academic goals.

This temporary position will commence in June and extend until the end of the academic year, offering you the opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a difference in the lives of young learners.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting.
  • A compassionate and patient nature, with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents alike.
  • Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare would be advantageous but not essential.
