SEND Teaching Assistant May 2024 Start - ongiong contract

The school I am recruiting for are based in Erdington and are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 and in small groups in the classroom.

The role is working in KS1 within a year 2 class setting. The setting has average EAL and SEND needs for the geographic area and like to provide additional support for students with additional needs, putting support in place such as 1:1 support and a resource base for children with additional needs. Feedback from staff working within the setting is always good and they describe the school as extremely supportive.

As a full time, Teaching Assistant, the school will expect you to essentially be a permanent member of staff, so the following is expected.
* Support the class teacher with daily activities
* Assess achievements of pupil.
* Ensure the student can access the curriculum
