Fully Qualified Teaching Assistant (Primary School)

Location: Kettering

We are currently seeking a fully qualified Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Kettering. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff members to support the learning and development of students, providing assistance both inside and outside the classroom.

Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
* Assist with the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting materials and resources as necessary to meet the individual needs of students.
* Support students with special educational needs (SEN), implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies as required.
* Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, communicating effectively to promote a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute to the overall ethos and success of the school community through active participation in school events and initiatives.

Requirements:
* A relevant qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., Level 3 TA qualification) or equivalent.
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
* Knowledge of strategies and techniques for supporting students with SEN and/or English as an Additional Language (EAL).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
* A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young children.
