We are currently hiring for a Teaching Assistant based within Rhondda Cynon Taff who is experienced and knowledgeable in supporting children with Additional Learning Needs.

About the School:

The School is a Special School located within Rhondda Cynon Taff and provide education for children ages 3-19 years old with moderate, severe & complex additional needs.

The role:

The school are currently needing an experienced Teaching Assistant, who has ideally worked within a special school setting/ SRB previously.

The successful candidate will be based within a KS2 class (mixed ages) to support the class teacher alongside a team of Teaching Assistants.

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taff

Hours: Mon to Fri (8:30am - 3:30pm)

Role Requirements:

The successful candidate will…

  • Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant within a Special School/SRB/Nurture Class or as a 1-1 Teaching Assistant.
  • Ideally will hold relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications
  • Available full-time
  • Obtain or already hold an Enhanced DBS check along with registration with the EWC.
  • Able to provide two references from the last two years.
