Are you looking for a fresh start to the summer term in a new TA role? Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or a graduate looking to start your first role?

Here at Prospero, I am working with a lovely, community-driven primary school in Blackburn that requires an enthusiastic, open minded Teaching Assistant to work in EYFS and KS1 classes. As a Teaching Assistant in this school, you need to have a calm, patient approach, and be able to provide plenty of encouragement, support and appropriate questioning and communication.

I would like to recruit a proactive Teaching Assistant who can provide excellent support for the children and help them to make progress in all areas. You must be able to integrate into a staff team easily and be a patient and understanding person who can build strong relationships confidently with the children.

This role is to start as soon as possible in April/May, and will be required for the summer term initially, with the potential that the role will continue onto the following academic year. Prior experience of working in UK primary schools is desired but not essential, however, you will also need a relevant qualification to be considered for the role. It is essential that you have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to pay for a new one at a cost of £45.

If you are a sensitive person with strong communication skills and can offer effective support to children with a variety of needs in all areas of their development, please apply now.
