Teaching Assistant

Milk Education are working with some exceptional Primary Schools in Telford to hire Teaching Assistants working across Key Stages One and Two. We offer part time and full time roles as long as long term and short term work.

We are looking for creative individuals to contribute to the progression, support, and encouragement of pupils at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across Key Stages One and Two.
• Leading Mathematics, English, and Science interventions to support SATs.
• Provide one-to-one and group interventions for children with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.
• Supporting the development of individual education and behaviour plans facilitating pupil progress and raising attainment in targeted areas.
• Providing regular to pupils and teachers on achievements and objectives.
• Monitoring pupils’ responses and progress to learning activities and interventions whilst acknowledging methods to facilitate pupils’ progress and achieve intended learning outcome.
• Managing time effectively to assist and support pupils.
• Creating positive relationships with colleagues, pupils, and parents/carers to support effective learning.

Requirements

• DBS Check.
• Qualifications in CACHE, NNEB, Education Studies and/or experience working within a Primary School settle.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to monitor pupils’ responses and progress to learning activities and interventions whilst acknowledging methods to facilitate pupils’ progress and achieve intended learning outcome.
• Strong passion for children’s progression and learning.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Ability to uphold policies and procedures relating to child protection, data protection, and health and safety to ensure the protection of children.
• Continuous incentive to withhold the school’s core values and ethos.
