Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a small village school in the BS31 area of Bristol.

This Primary School is a thriving and supportive school who can offer the opportunity for professional development and growth as they are part of a large school trust.

The Role

This role is for someone looking to start as soon as possible on a Full-Time basis.

The successful candidate will be working closely with a Year 2 pupil with an EHCP, use their initiative to adapt lessons and activities to allow them to access the curriculum.

You will be expected to:

  • Great communication with the Class Teacher.

  • Have high expectations for the pupil.

  • Have previous experience working with SEND.

  • Be enthusiastic to help the wider school too.

  • Use your initiative to adapt activities to meet the pupils needs.
