A welcoming and high-achieving primary academy in Enfield are looking for part-time teaching assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1 to 1 basis for an immediate start

The Role

In this role you will be supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1 to 1 basis on a part-time basis. Pupils will need support to access learning in lessons as well as support outside the classroom towards individual targets. The school are looking for Teaching Assistants with previous experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and mild learning difficulties.

This 3-form entry primary school is part of a larger all-through academy based in Enfield. The primary school opened in 2013 and now is a popular choice for families in the local community. The school employs a curriculum that enables all to make rapid academic progress across a range of subject areas with an emphasis on reading, writing and numeracy. Behaviour at the school is very good and there are high expectations of pupils and staff alike. The school works closely with the attached secondary school and there is a supportive and established leadership team in place. As a large school within an academy, there is good access to professional development opportunities and training.
