Teaching Assistant

Seven Resourcing are looking for Teaching Assistants in the Portsmouth Area, to work on a supply Basis, with the options to work part time or Fulltime at both Primary and Secondary schools.

Pay Details : £85 - £95 a day - Umbrella or PAYE - Rate are Flexible Depending

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant to provide support for the teacher and pupils working with an individual or groups in the classroom (and in the playground).

Key Responsibilities:

-             Ensuring pupils are kept on task and complete activities set by teachers.

-             Deal with behavioural and special needs issues in conjunction with the teacher.

-             Provide support and assistance to students as needed, maintaining a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

-             Help implement lesson plans to support for curriculum, assist with testing and assessment.

Requirements:

-             Experience in either teaching/learning/child support working environments, good literacy and numeracy skills, good communication skills with ability to form effective relationships with a variety of different people.

-             Compliance - Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check .

-             Relevant qualification in Teaching and Learning, trained to NVQ3 standard.
