SEND Teaching Assistant - Sheffield

Do you have experience working with children with additional learning needs? Are you actively looking for work? Prospero Teaching are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to support children, with their education, who are diagnosed with additional learning needs - MLD/SLD/PMLD/ASC etc....

The role is to start ASAP

For this role you must:

Have worked with people with additional learning needs in either an education or care setting.

This roles purpose is to support students with additional needs. You will support the students with their learning, each student as an EHCP and ILP that must be adhered to.

Personal care may be required.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working in a school/care setting - (Ideal)
Previous Primary/SEN education experience (preferred)
Previous SEND experience - (Ideal)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided)
School experience is NOT needed as long you have a care background or something similar

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional related references
