Teaching Assistant Role Overview:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to assist in classroom activities and support students' learning. Your responsibilities will include providing individualised help to students, preparing materials, and helping maintain a safe and productive classroom environment.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Provide support to students with special educational needs.
  • Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
  • Monitor students' progress and behaviour.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is a plus but not required.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a difference.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and understanding in working with students.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Enhanced DBS Check
  • Right to work in the UK
