Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering effective and engaging lessons.
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to address students' academic and behavioural needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in the well-being of students.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the classroom.
