This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at a School in Anlaby as an Outreach Practitioner. Supporting the School and their partnering schools in the delivery of outreach support, the post holder will deliver early intervention for identified students.

The working hours are from 08:30am to 16:00pm Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 35 hours per year, to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours.

The School

The school offers specialist support for students with social, emotional and mental health needs and this sits at the centre of everything they do. They support students to accelerate their academic, social and emotional skills development and ultimately enable them to re-engage with learning. They have a strong, supportive and dedicated team who collectively work with their allocated off-site provisions to ensure engagement in student learning.

  • Minimum rate of pay - £90 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a similar setting
  • LEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferable
  • GCSE Maths and English and Computer literate
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
