ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across multiple locations in the borough of Bexleyheath, South East London for this April 2024.

Anyone from a care background, has previous experience professionally or unprofessionally with any type of special needs and even those that don't have experience but are committed individuals, please do apply.

CONTRACT DETAILS

  • Location - Bexleyheath
  • Position - SEN TA
  • Type of work - Working with students with various special needs. This will be identified upon trial / interview.
  • Contract or position start date - ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration - 1 year
  • Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary, with a potential to become permanent
  • Full time/part time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Negotiable
  • Hours - 8:15am - 3:15pm, plus parents evening

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • No experience required
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
