An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of a supportive, positive, talented team in an OFSTED GOOD secondary school. The school are seeking to employ a secondary teaching assistant who will support the learning needs of students who require assistance in understanding the curriculum.

The school has a brilliant reputation for taking on graduates and NQTs!

Position:

  • Type of work - Teaching Assistant - No previous experience required
  • Start date - March 2024
  • Duration / Likely Duration- 1 Year - Immediate start until July 2024 with the view to get the contract extended
  • End date (if applicable)- July 2024 with the view to get the contract extended
  • Contract type- Temporary with the view to go permanent after
  • Full time/part time -FULL TIME ONLY
  • Minimum rate of pay - £90 per day
  • Hours -8am - 4 pm (full day)

THE TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL

It is important for the school that they meet a Teaching Assistant with a passion for the core subject and will inspire, challenge and motivate students to achieve beyond their expected potential.

THE IDEAL TEACHING ASSISTANT WILL

This Teaching Assistant vacancy will see the successful graduate working across the school to help attainment and progress.

The Teaching Assistant will be working closely with GCSE and A-Level students

provide booster sessions which will concentrate on exam practice to prepare them for the summer.

The school are keen to progress and develop graduates in teachers, so there will be the opportunity for the hired Teaching Assistant to help plan, observe and deliver lessons jointly with teachers.
