Smart Education is excited to announce a partnership with a dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Secondary School in Wolverhampton, which has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted. We are expanding our team of compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day coverage, catering to both long and short-term assignments, specifically supporting pupils with autism and other special needs.

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant at this SEN Secondary School, you will play a vital role in supporting and enriching the educational experience of students with special needs, including those with autism. The ideal candidate for this position will bring valuable experience in working with SEN children and hold a Level 2 or 3 Qualification.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism and other special needs.
  • Possession of a Level 2 or 3 Qualification in a relevant field.
  • Either currently holding a DBS on the update service or willingness to initiate the DBS process.
  • Successful completion of reference checks, spanning 24 months of employment, including the most recent.
