Zest Education are delighted to be working alongside a special educational needs school in Lichfield who are looking for multiple teaching assistants to be part of their outstanding school. There are both full and part-time roles available due to start ASAP.

This is a secondary special educational needs school which caters for students from the age of 11-18 with a range of additional needs, mainly moderate and severe learning difficulties and/or disabilities.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing academic and developmental support to students in a variety of classroom settings. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the classroom teacher, preparing teaching materials, offering one-on-one support to students with special needs, and maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualification or above in Teaching Assistance or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults in an educational environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
