Teaching Assistant Year 4

Hays Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established Primary School at the heart of it's local community in Winsford as they require an experienced and reliable teaching assistant to support the Year 4 class. This role is due to sickness cover and will be starting after the May half-term.

Your new role
In your new role as a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the Year 4 class. You will work alongside the class teacher to promote an engaging and stimulating learning environment. You will aid in classroom management by utilising all learning equipment and resources such as white boards and work with the pupils to organise and develop displays in line with current learning. You will support your new pupils on a 1:1 and group basis by holding intervention and boosters sessions as required in core subjects. A number of pupils in this class have SEN such as dyslexia, ADHD and ADD so you will also be required to effectively manage their behaviours.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered with your application, you must have recent referenceable experience working with children and young people in a voluntary or professional capacity as well as:

• Previous experience with KS2 / Year 4
• The ability to work with students on a 1:1 and group basis
• Experience holding intervention and booster sessions
